Empowered Living Services provides person-centered supports for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the Hampton Roads Peninsula. Every service we offer is designed around one goal — helping individuals live life on their own terms.
Day Support
Center-based day programming, Monday–Friday 8am–4pm. Small groups work on skills, creative arts, fitness, and community outings. Personal care support is available on-site. Transportation is available through Modivcare.

Community-based sessions in groups of 1–3, scheduled flexibly between 8 AM–8 PM around each individual's goals. Transportation is included. Focused entirely on community participation — not center programming.

One-on-one support from a trained ELS specialist in real community settings. Fully individualized schedule built around the individual's goals for community integration and daily living skills.
Explore Community CoachingSponsored Residential
An individual lives in the home of a trained, approved ELS provider — a real home in a real neighborhood. ELS recruits, trains, and provides ongoing oversight of all providers.

Our services are available to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are enrolled in Virginia Medicaid waiver programs. We work closely with Support Coordinators to ensure a smooth referral and intake process.
