1:1 Support. Real Growth.
One-on-one coaching at ELS pairs each individual with a dedicated support specialist who works alongside them — in the community, at their pace — to build skills, pursue goals, and live more independently.
What Is 1:1 Community Coaching?
1:1 Community Coaching is an individualized, community-based service where a trained ELS specialist works directly with one person at a time. Unlike group programming, coaching is entirely focused on the individual — their goals, their schedule, their definition of a good life. Sessions happen in real-world community settings, not a facility.
Fully Individualized
No group settings, no shared curriculum. Every session is built around one person's goals, interests, and pace.
Community-Based
Coaching happens where life happens — in the community, not a facility. Real environments, real practice, real progress.
Goal-Driven Progress
We track progress toward meaningful, self-identified goals — not just attendance. Every session moves the needle.
Consistent Relationship
The same specialist works with each individual over time, building trust and continuity that makes real growth possible.
Coaching Focus Areas
Coaching is tailored to each person. These are some of the most common areas individuals work on with their ELS coach.
How Coaching Works
Get to Know You
We start with a conversation — not an assessment. We want to understand what matters most to the individual and what they want their life to look like.
Build a Coaching Plan
Together with the individual, their family, and support coordinator, we develop a personalized coaching plan with clear, meaningful goals.
Coach in the Community
Sessions happen in real-world community settings — wherever the individual's goals take them. No office, no classroom, no artificial environment.
Track & Celebrate Progress
We document progress, adjust the plan as goals evolve, and celebrate every milestone — big and small.
